Meet SEOPilot: Fast, Honest SEO for WordPress (and Why We Built It)

July 7, 2026

Most WordPress SEO plugins in 2026 have quietly turned into “suites” — dashboards stuffed with AI credits, keyword trackers, and a steady drip of upgrade nags. A lot of that weight doesn’t move your rankings. It moves the vendor’s upsell funnel.

We wanted the opposite. SEOPilot is a WordPress SEO plugin built in pure PHP, with no framework, effectively no front-end JavaScript, no ads, and no file editors. It does the SEO work that actually matters and gets out of the way.

What it does

Out of the box, free:

The honest part: structured data in 2026

Here’s something most plugins won’t tell you. Google removed HowTo rich results in 2023 and FAQ rich results on 7 May 2026. Its March 2026 core update narrowed rich results to schema that describes a page’s primary content. Yet open almost any competitor and you’ll still find FAQ and HowTo “rich snippet” blocks front and center.

SEOPilot emits one consolidated JSON-LD graph — WebSite, Organization, WebPage, Article, Breadcrumb, and (in Pro) Product, Recipe, Event, Video, JobPosting, LocalBusiness and more — every node cross-referenced by ID, no duplicates. It only promises rich results for types Google still supports, and labels the deprecated ones honestly. Your structured data reflects the search engine as it is today.

Free vs Pro

The free plugin is genuinely complete. SEOPilot Pro adds a redirect manager and 404 monitor, the advanced schema types, IndexNow instant indexing, automatic image alt text, and multiple focus keywords — as a one-off add-on, not a subscription.
